Alexander Wang x H&M

This is pretty much the greatest news of all time.

Often when brands collaborate with stores like H&M or Target, it is a chance for me to buy these designers I usually wouldn’t wear. I never would buy Prabal Gurung, but the collab with Target was amazing.

But the news of Alexander Wang collaborating with H&M was the best thing I’ve heard in a very long time.

I am a big Alexander Wang fan to begin with. He is one of the designers I splurge on. I  love his T line and my fav heels of the moment are by him.

So hearing this, made me a very happy little peanut. But what made me very sad, was that I was invited to the party for the surprise announcement at Coachella and I DIDNT EVEN GO. I was more bummed about this than Jay Z and Beyonce surprising the crowd.

Here is what the designer said of the project.

“I am honored to be a part of H&M’s designer collaborations. The work with the team is an exciting, fun process. They are very open to pushing boundaries and to setting a platform for creativity. This will be a great way for a wider audience to experience elements of the Alexander Wang brand and lifestyle,” says Alexander Wang.

This is amazing because fashion lovers who can’t afford the designer clothes, can buy these  instead. And really, his clothes and shoes are fairly priced in comparison to other designers you will find at Barney’s.

The collab will be available online and in stores November 6, 2014. (You will probably catch me waiting by November 4th and I don’t even know what it looks like)
