Custom Diet/Meal Plans

As you can probably tell by my posts, I have been traveling a lot lately. It is so hard to eat well when you are at the yummiest restaurants and in airports with Chik-fil-a as the only option so I wanted to eat a little better while I was at home. I am not so great at portions and what to eat throughout the day, so I got a custom diet/meal plan done and wanted to share a day of my meal plans for you.

It’s hard to know what to eat especially for your body type, height, weight etc. Every diet is different based on the person, so I really think investing in someone who can give you a customized meal plan with foods you actually will eat is so beneficial. Diet coach Kathleen Riley from Derek Perdue did a personalized meal plan for me. This is just one day of what I eat and on my workout days, but every day it is changing so I never get bored. MEAL 1

  • 6 egg whites
  • 1/2 cup Oatmeal
  • 10 strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon of flaxseed

MEAL 2

  • 4 oz chicken breast
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter

MEAL 3

  • 5oz. cooked grilled chicken breast or extra lean turkey or cod
  • 1/3 cup of quinoa
  • 1 cup of raw green snap beans, broccoli, spinach or kale

MEAL 4 (post workout)

  • 30 grams of protein powder
  • 1/2 grapefruit

MEAL 5

  • 5oz salmon or 5oz of red meat (filet mignon, top round cut or bison)
  • 2 cups broccoli or green peppers or green salad
  • 4 oz sweet potato

MEAL 6

  • 30 grams of protein powder
  • 1.2 tablespoon of almond butter or natural peanut butter

DRINKS ALLOWED

  • water
  • coffee
  • tea

  1. With the cold weather approaching us in the south, it gets tempted to eat unhealthy. Having a vision and clean meal plan in front of you will definitely take some of the pressure off. Thank You so much for sharing! (=
