East Coast Chill

Being bi-coastal isn’t so fun during winter weather. The good part is, I can escape to the West Coast when I have had a little too much of the cold weather. This week in New York has been cold, but not as bad as Fashion Week. It definitely puts a cramp in my style, I guess I haven’t properly learned how to manage dressing well while keeping warm. It has also put a damper on taking outfit pictures, because during rain and snow it made it hard to (want to) get outside to take pictures. So here’s an instagram round up of some outfits and pictures in NYC until I can get my life together to take proper ones.

3. Picking out Spring outfits that will be on the blog next week from Macy’s x MADE wearing Wolford body suit, Topshop jeans (comes in regular and petite which I always buy) and Stuart Weitzman Highland boots

4. I love Magnolia Bakery in NYC and LA. It was a little too early to have their famous banana pudding so I opted for the best vanilla latte ever and a lemon blueberry scone. You also may recognize it from Sex and The City. If you haven’t been yet, it is a must try!

7. After working with Macy’s I made my way outdoors. This is the same outfit from picture #3 added with a Theory coat (old) (similar) and She + LO bag 8. Stopped to smell the roses on a rainy day

9. My favorite Greek restaurant on the east coast is Milo’s, if you go here you MUST order the Milo’s special. It is incredible and that alone will fill you up. 10. For my blog post with Macy’s x MADE I was styled by Jenne Lombardo and went to her home in Soho after to take outfit pictures. Same details as #3

11. My favorite Starbucks drink is a white chocolate mocha with non-fat milk no whip and an extra shot of espresso 12. NYLON’s spring issue has cover girl Rita Ora also have a Louis Vuitton wallet here and Drybar’s Hot Toddy

13. Working from NYLON Magazine’s offices on my blog post from Vanity Fair x FIAT I got a lot of questions about my laptop case. I thought it was from etsy, where they have a lot and I accidentally told some of you it was from there. But my bad, it was a gift and I was corrected it is from uniqfind.  14. I took a train from NYC to Connecticut for the weekend to visit my sister and nephews who live there. I love that about New York, that I can take a train and see people near by!
