How To Contour Using Bronzer

Highlighting and contouring might sound daunting and complicated, but it really is much easier than you think. I love this makeup technique to really define my face and warm up my skin. My skin hasn’t been as sun kissed as usual, but I’ve given my face an added glow by using Guerlain’s 4 Seasons bronzer to achieve this look. I recently flew to New York where I met with Guerlain National Makeup Artist Marcus Monson who taught me several tricks to getting a sophisticated highlight and contoured look that really made me feel glamorous in just a few easy steps. We used Terracotta 4 Seasons bronzer that has four matte shades, perfect for contouring. Bronzers are a great product for contouring, to create depth and definition. For example, to create the illusion of high cheekbones. Illuminators are a great way to diminish dark circles and shadows and to highlight and open up features. Because it has various shades of bronzer, you can use different colors throughout the year to get that perfect contoured look. marianna hewitt how to contour with bronzer He taught me a trick to contour using Guerlain’s signature “3” method, following the sides of your temples, under the cheek bone and along your jaw line. So easy! When he was done with the bronzer, he added a little of Terracotta Light to highlight the skin with a pop that really made my skin glow. But rather than explaining it, take a look at Marcus demonstrating how to use it and you can really tell a difference before and after the product!
