Photo Diary of Jamaica Part 1

Never in my life did I think I would travel to Jamaica, but here I am writing this post from the most stunning balcony view you could imagine.

But I guess you don’t really need to imagine, since I tried my best to capture the beauty of the Caribbean in just a few photos. Not only is the country so beautiful, but the people are incredible with a laid back attitude and a positive spirit that I love to be around.

I am here with an amazing group and we are staying at the Round Hill Hotel and Villas in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The property has a colonial feel with modern luxury and is honestly more than enough for a vacation here. I didn’t even want to leave the resort, because there really wasn’t a need to.

Along with the other bloggers on the trip, we went around the resort and took outfit photos … surprise surprise. A must have for any summer vacation is the perfect flat, because who wants to walk around in heels on vacation, not me! I wore the perfect espradrilles on my trip from Soludos. From the pictures, you can see two styles one is a denim pair that literally went with every outfit from a maxi dress to shorts and another printed pair that gave a pop of color to a monochome look.

For the printed pair, I put them with a pair of shorts from Cult of Individualty and a Sabo Skirt knit top.

This is just a small photo diary of an amazing trip that isn’t quite over yet. But when it is, I’ll keep you all posted with a follow up and a vlog of our trip to Jamaica.

A special thanks to Sazan of SPAZ MAG for helping me with photos!

  1. Hey Marianna! I’m a 16 year old girl from Sweden and I just want you to know that I really like you! You are so Beautiful and I love your blog and Youtube. After I saw your French Riviera vlog I decided that I want to go there. You are so Amazing and plz don’t ever stop doing what you are doing! I’v been following you for a while now and thought it was time to leave you a comment. Have a wondeful Day! xo

  2. Those are such great style shoes for travel! I wore similar pair in Austria this summer and they were perfect for walking all day. They also look much more chic than tennies or flats with laces–I made the mistake of wearing laced shoes with a dress in SXM and my husband said I looked like a nurse lol–not the look I was going for!
