Valentine’s Day Makeup Tutorial

Valentine’s Day is such a romantic time to change up your makeup routine for a special night out. If you are looking for a new look to try, this tutorial is perfect for the 14th or any date night out.

I was trying to figure out the best makeup look that was Valentine’s appropriate, so I made my way to Nordstrom my go-to place for all things beauty. I love shopping there because I can find all my favorite beauty brands in one place, like NARS, MAC, Bobbi Brown and 200 beauty brands to try on and sample at the counters.

The beauty stylists at the counter helped me pick out the perfect matte red lip to make me feel beautiful on this romantic day.

Take a look at my full tutorial to complete this look and a list of all my favorite products & I’m wearing the Surplice Pocket Blouse in the video too!

MAC eyebrow pencil in Lingering

  • I have used this product for YEARS. It is the perfect color, not too dark or harsh. The fine tip makes it easy to fill in hairs to make your brows look naturally full

NARS Contour Blush in Paloma with Kabuki Ita Brush and MAC 217 Brush

  • This highlight and contour palette from NARS can tackle so many functions. I use it to contour and highlight my cheeks and nose as well as an eye shadow to slightly deepen my crease. For my face, I used it with the Kabuki Ita brush to really define the hallows of my face and in my eyes, I love MAC’s fluffy eye shadow brush for soft lines

Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner with MAC 208 Brush

  • This eyeliner glides on so easily and lasts through the whole night, no matter how long your date will be. To get the line to be crisp, defined and thin I prefer to use MAC’s 208 brush to give your liner the perfect wing

MAC in Ruby Woo with MAC Brick lipliner

  • Talk about the perfect red lip. There is no better combo than this for me. I chose a matte lip for my Valentine’s Day look because you don’t need to worry about reapplying throughout the night. You can kiss your date, have a sip of wine and you won’t need to worry about it coming off. It will be as bold as the moment you put it on till you are ready to wash it off

This post is in collaboration with Nordstrom, all opinions are my own.
