Voluminous Waves Tutorial

If you’re anything like me, you’re obsessed with getting the perfect messy waves. Lately I’ve been using a new tool that I’d like to share with you guys. It’s the T3 Whirl Trio Wand. It comes with three different barrels you can use to make curls, waves, bends or ringlets, whatever you like.

The smallest barrel is one inch. This is the one you’d want to use for spirals or refined curls. The next size up is 1 1/4- 1 3/4 tapered barrel. The cone shape makes perfect beach waves, textures, tousles, basically any natural-looking curl. The biggest wand is 1 1/2 inches and makes glamorous waves with fullness and body. I used the 1 1/2 inch barrel to create loose, full waves then styled them half-up, half-down and in a romantic low ponytail.

Whether you’re a beginner or a wave-making pro, you can still get gorgeous hair with this tool. Plus it works for any hair type, just adjust the heat settings accordingly. (Thicker hair needs more heat, fine hair won’t need quite as much.) The barrel heats evenly so you’re sure to get a perfect curl the first time and every time after that. No more re-do’s!
