What To Pack For a Road Trip + VIDEO

Yessssssss! Summer is coming and I cannot wait! One of the things I love most about California is that if you hop in your car, you can drive to someplace totally different than Los Angeles in just a few hours. This makes it perfect for last minute getaways, weekend trips with friends or even a stay cation (a personal favorite of mine). But driving means space is limited, so pack a few key pieces you can get the most out of and hit the road.

Pack some items that can be worn from day to night that look great with flats and heels. I almost always pack in a neutral palette so that everything will mix and match together, so for this road trip its all black, white and tan. An off the shoulder dress from Tularosa is versatile as well as this open back white romper from The Fifth Label.  Another white option that can be worn different ways is a white crop top, Lovers + Friends denim skirt paired with an Equipment blouse over it that can double as a cover up. As far as accessories go, keep it neutral. A tan fringe bag and nude Raye sandals will go with every outfit, keeping your weekend bag as light as possible. Although I kept this outfit pretty neutral palette friendly, I added in a little fun with a pair of Quay sunglasses from their collab with the babe of all babes, Shay Mitchell.
