Women love the hair, makeup and lashes. But do men? I asked my guy friends and here is what they said.
After I switched from super glam to a more low key makeup routine, I was getting more compliments from guys. So I was thinking, what makeup looks and beauty products to men hate?
Well, I text some friends. Screenshot-ed their responses and here is the scoop.
This one we all know if you sleep over at someones house and don’t have face wash or fall asleep with it on …
But he wasn’t the only one who had that same pet peeve
Another problem that comes to marking your territory in the bed was leaving behind lashes
And I guess guys really hate that because my friend Eli agreed.
Also remember not to leave these around
A big no no from a few of my friends was never give a man a hug and leave makeup on his jacket or shirt!
And since these both mentioned 1. red lipstick and 2. clowns … that leads us to the next man-repelling makeup look
Overall, the guys said they just like the less is more look.
One last thing, don’t forget the nose hairs
We don’t really need the approval of men, because if I did my hair would probably be dark and I’d never wear makeup. But if you care, here is a recap of what they seem to hate …
- too much makeup
- red lipstick
- hugging a guy with makeup on and leaving it on his jacket
- sleeping over and leaving makeup all over his pillows
- taking off eyelashes or extensions if you are over at his place
- don’t be a cake face, leave it for the circus
- and don’t mark your territory, leaving behind an eyelash or hair tie isn’t cute

Note to guys… Learn how to hug short girls!!!!! If I’m going out and have applied makeup, we other it’s a full face or just lipstick, the last thing I want is for ur jacket to wipe it all off! Our tippy toes can only go so far! Do us both a favor and bend those knees!!!

I think makeup is a form of art, its how women express themselves. If I woman feels confident and comfortable with how her makeup looks than man should except her makeup creativity. On the other hand, I think if a girl is planning to stay over night at a mans she should go with light makeup, or natural looking so that way when she washes her face its not so drastic looking.

My man always expresses his hate for red lipstick/dark lipstick…that & women in overalls. Guys HATE the overall look & honestly I do too. That’s a fashion trend that needs to die.

OMGG ! I found this to be so funny and true. My boyfriend hates when I wear a lot of makeup he usually makes fun of me and calls me ghost face lol .

I would agree on almost all the things but the red lipstick is more a question of how intense it is. And for a guy like my self with 188cm / 6.2 it ain’t always okay to bend my knees
