Fall Favorites

Fall is almost here and I am so excited. My last few days in New York City were cooling down and I was so happy walking around the city in layers and boots feeling the start of a fall breeze. Maybe because my Birthday is in Fall, I love this season so much. From mid September til January, I pretty much live in leather, chunky knits and booties. And these typically consist of a pretty basic color palette of tan, black, olive, grey and cream. Pretty basic, but I found that shopping in this palette means I can get the most use out of my outfits. I can mix and match so many items to create new looks, that no matter what I can put together something quickly. This also works great for me as I travel, because I don’t need to pack as many items.

The only exceptions I make to this color palette are mixing in stripes, light washed denim and lace in cream or neutral tons.  I wanted to share some of my fall must haves with you and hopefully it gets cooler in Los Angeles soon so I can wear them all.
