One of the first rounds of red carpets I got to cover was a small premiere for a movie called Jack Goes Boating, in the film was Philip Seymour Hoffman.
I believe the year before he won an Oscar and he had just finished working on Moneyball. We spoke of the film and my Dad loves him as an actor so I was excited to speak with him.
It was the only time I met or interviewed him and looking back at an interview from 2010, I realize how inexperienced I was and how I have grown in the last 4 years. But I remember the excitement of getting to interview an oscar winning actor!
I’ve lost a little of that passion and excitement somewhere along the way and I need to get that back somehow … but that is off topic, I just wanted to share this old interview.
