Must Have Makeup Products

There are just some things that I cannot live without. And here they are …

Over the years, I have tried just about every product you could possibly think of. If there is a foundation, concealer or new product I have more than likely got my hands (errr face?) on it.

These reviews are completely based off of what I have purchased over the years and what I feel are the things I couldn’t live without.

lemme break it down for yaaa

First of all, I can’t live without my beauty blender. I probably would look like a cake face without it because it really sheers out my foundation for good base. It gives me coverage from the makeup but really blends the product (hence the name. If you don’t know how to properly use it, watch this video.

Now what do I put on the beauty blender, that would by my foundation and concealer which are both from MAC Cosmetics. Let me first tell you that their makeup is awful for your skin. So why do I use it? Maybe I’m an idiot, but the coverage is so amazing so I use it sparingly. But dermatologists, estheticians and makeup artist have all told me that MAC is the worst thing you could put on your skin whoops. I use studio fix fluid foundation and pro long wear concealer. 

When I am done clogging my pores with what I suppose is awful but makes my skin look wonderful I set it with their studio fix powder. I really think using a liquid foundation then setting it with powder gives your skin a perfect complexion.

From here your skin will look really one dimensional (my god how many steps am I going to tell you!?) so you’ll need blush, contour and highlighter.

In this must have package you’ll need blush from NARS, for contour I use a darker MAC studio fix powder and I highlight with Bobbi Brown’s shimmer brick. It has 5 different colors so you can choose one or mix them together, I also use this on my eye lids and under my brown.

WHEWWWW SO MANY PRODUCTS I AM GETTING SLEEPY LISTING THEM ALL

and the list goes on … (I hope this helps in future posts or questions when I get asked what product I use for this or that because every product is listed here)

Let us now move on to the eyes. I have used MAC’s eye brow pencil in lingering for years and no other pencil is fine enough or light enough for what this one does for me. IT IS PERFECTION.

Then I use a little little little bit of their fluid line to line my top lid only with a small angle brush and it is really all about the lashes.

I wear red cherry lashes with black duo glue in #102. I don’t think you should waste money on expensive lashes unless they are mink. Which are by far my favorite lashes, but pricey but they really do looking f’n amazing.

There are some tips and tricks to putting on your lashes so you don’t look like scary spice so watch here.

Now on to the lips! (we are almost done geeze) I line my lips with NYX in Nutmeg or Natural and then dab a tiny tiny tiny bit (please don’t apply this all over because powder donut lips is not the look we are going for here) of MAC Myth in the center of my lips and voila!!! Now you can tell your friends I know every product Marianna Hewitt uses because she told me them in a long ass blog post.
