Urban Decay has become the must have brand for palettes. Their Naked 1, 2 and 3 are a staple in pretty much every girl’s makeup kit and now they have a few more products that you won’t be able to live without.
These summer time must haves include their brand new bronzer, highlighter and blush palette in two colors Streak and Native, Naked Skin beauty balm in bronzing and illuminating, and Naked Skin body balm. This is called their “Summer 2″ collection and is out in stores on May 13th and you can find it HERE.
The naked skin beauty balms come in two colors, bronzing and illuminating. You can see on the swatches that the bronzing has a brown tint to it and illuminating is more of a shimmer. I over applied so you can see them, but when you put it on your face they do go on more sheer. Think of these as a makeup primer with SPF 20. They feel light on your skin and they also don’t deposit a lot of color, more like a light tint.
Other new items for summer include their bronzer, highlighter and blush palettes in two new colors. Currently they have “flushed” but this gives you more options.
“Streak” is my preferred of the two, only because it looks better on my skintone. The blush is coral and deposits a LOT of color. The highlighter is shimmery and has a more pink tone and the bronzer is cooler, which goes better with my cool skintone.
For “native” it comes in colors better for warmer skin tones. The blush is more pink and very bright, the highlighter was a little too light for my skintone and the bronzer has orange undertones better for warmer skin.
Here is a selfie on an iPad of what it looked like on my skin. Looking at the photo, Native is on my left and Streak is on my right.
It was hard to really tell how it looked in low resolution, so I took a high resolution photo to see more of the color. You can tell in the photo on the left it is more orangy and the photo on the right is more pink.
The last part of these new products from Urban Decay was this body balm. In the photo I applied it to my chest and collarbone. On the left photo, it is on but with no flash. On the right, with flash you can tell it really makes my skin glow. It is sheer, so I wasn’t worried about it getting on my clothes. It is a creamy texture and feels similar to a light lotion or a primer.
I’m really excited to add these products to my summer beauty routine and have long been a fan of Urban Decay. CLICK HERE to look at their full Summer collection for “Naked” and take a look at these items and more. Please note these items go on sale May 13th.

i havent tried it yet!
How do you feel about Naked 1 & 2?

Could you please post what shadows you use (more product names please Is there anyway you can recommend a full coverage foundation? I think it’s so amazing that you respond to your fans, not most popular bloggers do.Bless you in everything you do!
thanks so much!!! eyeshadow i just use a bronzer, mac brown down or mac expensive pink. and for full coverage the best i have found is mac studio fix but it is too heavy to wear everyday.
